Responsibilities
- Develop reusable platform frameworks for ingestion, orchestration, and workflow execution.
- Own infrastructure engineering for data systems including compute, storage, and identity integration.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Design platform observability, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
- Lead system integration patterns including event-driven and batch architectures.
- Support M&A integration through scalable platform onboarding.
- Partner with analytics and data teams to enable platform usage.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent) and CI/CD automation.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems with defined SLAs/SLOs.
- Experience with system integration patterns (event-driven architectures, APIs, streaming systems).
- Strong understanding of identity, access control, secure platform design (e.g., Entra ID).
- Experience implementing observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) for platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting large-scale data platforms (lakehouse, warehouse, or streaming systems).
- Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, dbt or Fivetran from a platform enablement standpoint.
- Background in M&A systems integration and onboarding complex environments.
- Experience with multi-region architectures and disaster recovery design.
- Understanding of infrastructure requirements for AI/ML platforms.
- Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Physical Requirements
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
