About the role

  • Position Overview CARIAN is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Construction and Outage Sequencer.
  • This position focuses on learning and applying constructability principles to help ensure the efficient execution of maintenance and upgrades while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to learn how outage sequencing is coordinated with project timelines and operational constraints.
  • Help deliver infrastructure that powers communities.
  • Opportunities to lead major programs and mentor high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Junior's or bachelor's degree, or current enrollment in a program such as electrical engineering technology, energy management, relay technician training or a related technical field is a plus. We will also consider candidates with a high school diploma and a demonstrated aptitude for this type of work.
  • A strong desire to learn about outage sequencing, construction processes and system operations.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office products, such as Excel and Word.
  • An aptitude for understanding technical principles and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn scheduling and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and a strong desire to grow with the company.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Works safely according to company policies and procedures
  • Valid driver license.

Nice to have
