  • New hires are typically brought into the organization with a starting pay between $101,050 and $130,000/year, based on experience and education.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support Branch Managers across seven branch operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and customer‑centric delivery of titling and registration services.
  • Lead operational planning for branch activities, staffing models, workload distribution, and performance monitoring.
  • Foster strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and customer groups to ensure awareness, support, and continuous improvement of DMV services.
  • Implement initiatives aligned with departmental goals and KPIs to optimize DMV performance.
  • Assist with or lead operational improvement projects, process redesign efforts, and innovation initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Branch Managers and frontline staff to build a positive, accountable, high‑performing team culture.
  • Support departmentwide employee engagement initiatives and staff development programs, including succession planning.
  • Work closely with the Treasurer and departmental leadership to support budget development, monitoring, and operational cost management.
  • Review and utilize performance dashboards, branch metrics, and operational data to guide decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal agencies, City & County partners, statewide MV partners, and other jurisdictions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
  • Three (3) years of experience at the type and level of functional or operational management, which must have included management of professional individual contributors.
  • Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

  • Support the development and implementation of annual and multi‑year strategic plans, operational goals, policies, and procedures for the Motor Vehicle Section.
  • The salary range for this position is $101,050-166,733/year.
