About the role
- This position provides quality occupational therapy services set by state practice guidelines, Medicare and assigned area(s) policies and procedures.
- Meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and Logan Health.

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with patient, family and team to develop goals and/or discharge.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
- RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
- Knowledge of and skilled in the use of materials and equipment, processes, procedures and techniques currently used in occupational therapy.
- Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Completes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for occupational therapy.
- Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
- Current Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy and must successfully obtain Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) license within thirty (30) days of hire.

- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
- Job Specific Duties:
- Effectively plans, oversees, delegates and instructs assigned staff members in an effort to provide services in a competent and efficient manner.
