Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized rail yard area, ensuring that all materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with rail road staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
- We are seeking a dedicated Railyard Equipment Operator to support safe and efficient operations within an intermodal rail terminal.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with forklifts and side loader.
- Familiarity with railroad operations and intermodal transportation environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- 18 years of age or older
- Must comply with established safety rules, policies, and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment
- If selected to move forward, are you willing to complete the required pre-employment screening process, which includes a drug screen, physical, MVR review, and background check?
- Driver's License (Required)
- Schedule: You must be open to either of these shift times as assigned.
- Valid driver's license
- Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Open availability to work: day, swing, night, weekends, and holidays
- Documented successful completion of lawful post-offer, pre-employment checks including criminal background check and drug screening.
