Responsibilities

  • As a Cook II, you will support daily culinary operations with professionalism, efficiency, and creativity, ensuring all dishes meet Fairmont's high standards:
  • Maintain exceptional standards of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
  • Deliver proactive, friendly service while collaborating effectively with the culinary team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall kitchen operations
  • Participate in mandatory training, orientation, and ongoing development sessions to support operational excellence and compliance with union requirements
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a banquet or restaurant culinary environment
  • Valid Food Safe certification (required)
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation

  • Annual allowances of up to $150 for safety footwear and $400 for tool replacement
