About the role

As a Senior Manager, Structural Engineering, you'll lead and coordinate the workloads of larger design teams across a portfolio of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV).
You'll be accountable for adherence to technical standards, design quality, and on-time delivery, while developing the team and supporting clients and business growth.

Oversee structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures across a portfolio of projects.
Drive team-wide adherence to applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards.
Oversee coordination of specifications and contract requirements with project managers and client representatives from early design through construction across the team's projects, with a focus on constructability.
Coordinate the workloads of larger design teams and ensure consistent adherence to technical standards across projects.
Ensure designers and the civil design team are coordinated on drawings, details, and foundation bills of material (BOMs) across large project areas.
Promote effective use of engineering software (Excel, RISA, LPILE, and Trimble products) and design automation (VBA and Python) across the team.
Develop and mentor staff, manage performance, and uphold quality and technical standards across the team.
Support business development, resourcing, and proposals for the structural subdiscipline.

Proficiency with structural and foundation software (RISA, LPILE), Trimble products, Excel, and design automation (VBA/Python).

a master's degree is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
12+ years of structural engineering experience, including team or project leadership.
Professional Engineer (PE) required
