About the role
- Submit written consult notes with medication recommendations and other treatment updates within 24 hours, finalized in Mindoula's Member Registry.
- Because consulting psychiatrists provide case reviews rather than direct patient evaluations, the referring clinician remains the primary treating provider.
- Accordingly, please ensure it is clearly communicated that all treatment recommendations are based strictly on consultative review.
Responsibilities
- That's why we're delivering a tech-enabled, team-based model that brings together primary care providers, OBGYNs, pediatricians, care managers, and psychiatric consultants to support patients in need - wherever they are.
- Deploy tech-enabled care teams to provide 24/7 support to the most complex populations.
Nice to have
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states (preferred, not required).
Benefits
- At Mindoula, we believe mental health care should be human-first, not diagnosis-first.
- Support ongoing treatment in the primary care, OBGYN, or pediatric setting and recommend transitions to more intensive or specialized mental health services as needed.
- Contribute to the training of primary care staff and providers on behavioral health conditions and integrated care best practices.
- What You'll Need An active Michigan medical license.
- Experience in women's health and/or pediatrics (preferred, not required).
- Mindoula is more than a behavioral health company - we are a mission-driven movement committed to fixing a broken system.
- Support partners across health plans, hospitals, and primary care settings to deliver whole-person, value-based care.
- Operate nationally with ambitious growth plans and a commitment to transforming behavioral health delivery.
- Come and help us change the way the world experiences behavioral health.
Company info

- Founded by individuals with personal experiences of mental illness, Mindoula was built to treat people, not just conditions.
