Responsibilities
- Translating solutions into effective business proposals tailored to prospects' unique needs Analyzing various business products and services and applying their capabilities/functionality to the proposal story Supporting with growth to leading the proposal development process, from kickoff to brainstorm sessions to RFP defense meetings Applying layout and other desktop publishing skills, such as PowerPoint and Word Strong proofing and editing abilities to edit content for conciseness and consistency Ability to research and write to complex topics Maintaining content repository Adhering to stringent proposal schedule deadlines Understanding proposal databases Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English, Biological Science, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- COMPETENCIES: Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy
- Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
Nice to have
- 3-5 years of experience as a writer
- Public relations and/or marketing agency experience a plus.
