About the role
- We are looking for an attorney who is a self-starter and embraces challenges with an innate desire to find creative and practical solutions.
- This role will report to the VP, Associate GC (Commercial Legal) and will join a team of several highly experienced and curious attorneys who love to solve problems.

Responsibilities
- Assist with legal operations including implementation of efficient workflows between various teams, maintenance of templates, playbooks, and decision trees, management of IronClad, building AI tools to drive efficiency, and the like.
- With a lean team, everyone contributes beyond their lane. This role will support the Chief Legal Officer and senior attorneys across corporate governance, HR, insurance, intellectual property, AI governance, and other general corporate matters.

Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience working both at a law firm and in-house, preferably in technology and/or digital media companies.
- This role will need to develop a deep understanding of our data licenses and must be an expert at negotiating complex data partnership agreements.
Nice to have
- Translating legal concepts into language that business teams can actually use is a big plus.
Compensation
- $184,000 - $220,000 (commensurate with experience)
