About the role
- As First Cook, you will be part of the galley team, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every resident on the Floatel, be a part of the smooth operation and cleaning of the galley for each service.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the buffet & Grap n' Go preparation and service as per the menu
- Maintain the chiller and temperature records and take proper care of ranges, ovens, boilers, fryers, griddles, utensils, and other equipment.
- Maintain high personal hygiene during working hours and while staying on board
Requirements
- Experience in planning and directing food preparation and cooking, estimating food requirements and labour
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Proper PPE must be worn at all times, whenever required
Nice to have
- A culinary diploma or related training may be preferred
Compensation
- $CAD hourly 19.00 to 25.00/-
