Responsibilities

- Thrive in translating this hard work into outputs that will enhance Senior Management and Board-Level decision making and further Etsy's mission to re-imagine commerce in ways that build a more fulfilling and lasting world.
- We collaborate with partner teams through all stages of development: actively uncovering opportunity areas, crafting experiments to test hypotheses, analyzing the impact of our efforts, and highlighting actionable takeaways that empower senior leadership.
- Our mission is to guide our partner teams with data and insights and tell the story of how we attract and retain our users - to teams, to senior management, and to the community
- Lead a team of Data/Strategic Finance Analysts responsible for Forecasting and Business Insights and SEC reporting
- SEC Reporting: provide analytics support to our Accounting and Investor Relations teams as a part of our quarterly earnings process (SEC filings, earnings presentations, etc), helping translate our internal strategy into clear narratives for investors & business partners
- Ad Hoc Projects: Dig deeper into both financial & broader ad hoc projects that unlock new insights, drive a deeper understanding of new opportunity areas for growth, and help shape strategic decisions amongst senior leadership.
Requirements
- Significant experience with forecasting, including data-driven time series modeling techniques (e.g. ARIMA, exponential smoothing, time series decomposition)
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization softwares

Compensation
- $239,000.00 - $311,000.00
