Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with disabilities in leading self-directed lives and becoming active members of their communities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.
  • We advocate for people who are neurodiverse to lead full and equitable lives.
  • AHRC New York City is seeking Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) who have a valid Driver's License and are comfortable driving a small van, for their Adult Day Program in Staten Island.

Requirements

  • Valid NY or Tri-State Driver's license, in good standing, required

Nice to have

  • Experience driving a small van a plus.
  • Personal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
