About the role
- Performing multi-modality procedures based on ARRT certification level, utilizing a variety of technical aspects that require judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic images.
- Promotes a cooperative and professional atmosphere with emphasis on patient care.
- The Technologist may share on call duties.
Responsibilities
- Technologist will obtain and maintain the knowledge needed for the PACS.
- Able to start and maintain IV lines
- Performs imaging examinations for both ambulatory or acute care environments.
Requirements
- The Technologist is required to work with patients in age group specific environments: pediatric, geriatric, febrile, and acute care
- Competently works within required computer programs (i.e. PACs, RIS, Vrad) as well as manual downtime processes
- Ability to meet patients and others needs while following office policies and procedures in person and on the telephone.
- Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
