About the role

  • Schedule: 8am to 4.30pm; Wednesday and Sunday off.
  • Be the facility subject matter expert and make decisions with little guidance.
  • Evaluate water and wastewater stream characteristics and be able to communicate observations verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Collect samples, perform laboratory analyses and interpret results for a variety of measurements following good lab practices.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of system performance, testing results, and rounds.
  • Maintain, order and receive inventory including chemicals.
  • Schedule / perform service and care for mechanical equipment according to preventive maintenance scheduling; Perform all PM's in a timely manner according to the PM schedule.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform required state/local permit reporting.
  • Develop required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and routinely update procedures.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Maintain records and logs as required.
  • Available for call-ins and required over-time to support critical situations.

Skills

  • Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to Multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Other Mechanical Technician.

  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

  • $36.51 - $38.72 USD
