- Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Construction Manager to join our dynamic Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CE&I) team at our Indianapolis, IN office.
Responsibilities
- Increasing responsibilities to perform construction management duties
- Manage the inspections of construction projects and materials for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and approved construction plans/specifications
- Strong knowledge at reviewing and interpreting construction documents, site drawings, as-built drawings, and specifications
- Manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED
- Construction Management Degree and / or 5
- 10+ years of construction experience
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel.
- Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
- Good knowledge of construction management, inspections, methods and materials
- Good knowledge of contract administration and pay estimates
- Good knowledge of soil analysis, materials, compaction, and density tests
