About the role
- Provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse.
- May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed including but not limited to stocking and clerical activities.
Responsibilities
- Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN.
- Maintains competency of tasks in which the PCA has been trained.
- Maintains a safe environment.
- Documents observations and tasks performed.

- Completes assigned tasks within required timeframe.
