About the role

LENS prevents accidents and saves lives by detecting hazards to prevent accidents before they happen.
Public Safety agencies, alongside Departments of Transportation, receive alerts on the LENS Detect dashboard about Disabled Vehicles, Stalled Big Rigs, and Pedestrians on Freeway.
You do not accept the status quo that accidents are an accepted inevitability, or that they just happen.

Own and manage the candidate journey.
Help build a scalable recruiting function necessary for LENS to achieve its mission - a function that not only hires the right people at the right time, but continually raises the bar for talent quality across the company and helps the team to meet that bar.

You work with fellow Preventers that share this core belief, using LENS to prevent accidents and save lives.
You are the tip of the spear for one of the most high-leverage, trajectory-moving outcomes for LENS, and you are extremely motivated by the outsized impact your work will have.

10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant contributions within mission-driven organizations.
Demonstrated ability to attract and hire top talent while supporting rapid company growth and organizational scaling.
Experience establishing and optimizing recruiting operations, processes, and systems in startup settings.
Success identifying, engaging, and hiring high-caliber technical talent, including software engineers, in highly competitive labor markets.
Trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, providing strategic guidance throughout the hiring process.
Outstanding communication, organization, and project management skills.
Ability to balance long-term talent strategy with hands-on execution.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.
Expertise with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, particularly Ashby and Rippling.
Familiarity with structured interviewing frameworks and interviewer enablement best practices.
