About the role
- This individual will report into the VBJ Senior Merchant.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of seasonal denim assortments, in close partnership with the Senior Merchant and design leads.
- Support Senior Merchant in seasonal assortment building and DTC buying process during market.
- Support month-end and quarter-end reporting, including selling decks and attribute deep dives.
- Develop and maintain Product Knowledge Guides for Sales, E-comm, and Store teams.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-4 years of merchandising or buying experience, preferably in denim or women's apparel.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of denim construction, fit, washes, fabrications, and market trends.
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of denim innovation and emerging consumer trends ideal.
- The base salary for this role is up to $70,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts

Compensation
- The base salary for this role is up to $70,000.
