About the role
- This is a temp to hire position that requires at least 2 0 hours/week.
- Weekly s chedule will var y and can offer some flexibility but will require weeknights and weekends availability as needed.
- Four floors of cutting-edge exhibits, interactive experiences, and films provide a one-of-a-kind visitor experience - engaging, educational, celebratory, and inspirational.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and retail store at all times.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to lead by example.
Requirements
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time, and work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Employee must have a vehicle and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Nice to have
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Bilingual language skills a plus.
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience including with retail store merchandise displays and promotions.
- Strong cash handling experience and e xperience operating a POS/register system.
