About the role

  • This role is responsible for managing project scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with strategic organizational objectives.
  • This is a full-time, remote position that reports directly to the business unit leader of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project kick-offs, regular status meetings, and post-project reviews.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting variances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud and product development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Cloud, product development, or technical projects preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in technical software development terminology and tasks from a high level
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Performance Metrics
  • Timely delivery of project milestones.

Nice to have

  • Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Track project progress and deliverables through established project management tools and reporting systems.
  • Ensure all project expenditures align with approved budgets and company financial policies.
  • Provide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses to leadership teams.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project-related communication across departments.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership review.
  • Facilitate quarterly strategic reviews, providing updates on project status, key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
  • Escalate critical issues promptly and facilitate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
