Responsibilities
- Perform sampling and field testing of asphalt and related paving materials
- Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training
- Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out
- Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
- Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)

- Professional development & certification support
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction inspection/testing
- Experience operating nuclear density gauges (Troxler or Humbolt)
- Familiarity with core extraction techniques for asphalt
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with public infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with structural steel construction practices
Nice to have
- NICET Level II - Highway Construction (preferred)
- NETTCP Paving Inspector (preferred)
- Alfred State University HMA Density Inspector (preferred)

Compensation
- $37-41/hour This range is based on national market data and may vary widely by experience and location.
