About the role
- The HRGI is responsible for ensuring accurate HR transactions, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance efforts, and delivering excellent customer service to employees across the organization.

Responsibilities
- This role will support 3rd and 1st shifts, so the ideal working hours will be 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday approx. (with flexibility needed as well).
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and site communications.
- Maintain employee personnel records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Review applications, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Conduct new hire orientation and support employee integration into the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and personnel files.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and record retention requirements.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting hourly workforce populations preferred.
- Experience using HRIS systems or demonstrated ability to learn HR technology platforms preferred.
- Experience generating HR metrics, reports, and workforce analytics preferred.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, or benefits administration.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
