About the role

  • The HRGI is responsible for ensuring accurate HR transactions, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance efforts, and delivering excellent customer service to employees across the organization.
  • Jabil does not request payments for interviews or at any other point during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • This role will support 3rd and 1st shifts, so the ideal working hours will be 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday approx. (with flexibility needed as well).
  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and site communications.
  • Maintain employee personnel records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Review applications, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and support employee integration into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and personnel files.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and record retention requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting hourly workforce populations preferred.
  • Experience using HRIS systems or demonstrated ability to learn HR technology platforms preferred.
  • Experience generating HR metrics, reports, and workforce analytics preferred.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, or benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
