About the role

  • The Certified Pedorthist / Certified Fitter plays a key role in supporting the pedorthic program at Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics by evaluating patient needs, collaborating with prescribing providers, and delivering high-quality pedorthic solutions.
  • This position blends clinical expertise, patient education, documentation, and referral relationship management to ensure positive patient outcomes and long-term program growth.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Functions & Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians and care teams to evaluate patient needs and determine appropriate pedorthic solutions.
  • Support proper patient management in alignment with established standards of care and professional best practices.
  • Deliver a high standard of patient care, including appropriate follow-up with patients and referral sources.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation outlining patient goals, issues, solutions, and outcomes in accordance with the Patient Bill of Rights.
  • Partner with branch leadership to support inventory management, materials tracking, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong clinical documentation skills with the ability to clearly and accurately record patient assessments, goals, and outcomes.

Nice to have

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of pedorthic experience
  • equivalent clinical training or supervised practice may be considered.
  • Comfort engaging with referral sources and educating patients, caregivers, or providers on pedorthic services and device use.

Compensation
