Responsibilities
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Lead RFx processes, competitive bidding, and should-cost analysis in partnership with R&D to establish procurement target costs throughout the product development lifecycle
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Establish and lead a CM Steering Committee to govern performance, capacity, and strategic alignment across key partners
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Own Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers, including agenda development, KPI review, executive facilitation, and action tracking
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Develop and deploy a robust supplier identification, onboarding, and oversight process applicable across supplier tiers
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Lead geopolitical supply chain risk programs, including China and Taiwan de-risking, UEL compliance, tariff mitigation, and alternate source qualification
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Drive counterfeit identification and mitigation programs in partnership with Quality
- As Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing, you will lead the strategy, partnerships, and execution needed to build a resilient, high-performing global supply base for Axon's growing hardware portfolio.
- Reporting to the EVP, Operations, you will play a critical role in enabling scale, improving cost and supply continuity, and ensuring sourcing decisions support product innovation and operational excellence.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Maintain ESG governance, staying ahead of emerging regulations and translating requirements into actionable supplier compliance programs
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Manage supplier payment terms strategy, shifting the portfolio toward favorable commercial terms
Requirements
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience, including significant experience in senior-level roles
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chain risk, including geopolitical exposure, sole-source dependencies, tariff impacts, and capacity constraints
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders and communicate clearly in both operational and strategic settings
Nice to have
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Familiarity with sourcing systems, analytics tools, and ERP environments
- experience with D365 or similar platforms is a plus
