About the role
- Under the general supervision and guidance of the School Director, Teachers are responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students.
- Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress.
- This may include a 30-day Substitute Permit or a Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL).
Requirements
- Teachers must be able to command their classroom and reach students with an engaging project-based curriculum.
Compensation
- Long - Term Substitute Teacher High Tech Middle Chula Vista Dates: 8/1/2026- 12/17/26 Reports To: School Director FLSA Classification: Certificated Full Time/Part Time Status: Full time, non-exempt Regular/Temporary: Temporary Salary: Teach

- If 12 weeks or more, then benefits and a pro-rated salary to commensurate with the shorter contract period.
- If under 12 weeks, then hourly no benefits.
