Communication
About the role
- Assists the Health and Wellness Director in various QMAP functions including identifying and reporting care needs, MAR audits, Medication department compliance, staff scheduling, and the overall supervision and development in QMAP care staff.
- Communicates updates/change of conditions regarding residents to family members, case workers and doctors as appropriate
- Monitors the safety and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist HWD with developing and updating care plans
- Maintains open communication with supervisor and/or peers to promote awareness of resident issues.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
Nice to have
- One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
Skills
- At least one year of medication administration experience where exceptional skills were demonstrated
- Strong self-management and organization skills
