About the role

  • The School of Arts & Communication is seeking to fill multiple part-time positions with adjuncts that have skills set to teach Communication courses in our program.
  • Specialists in African American Studies will also be considered.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Masters of Arts degree in subject area or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level in a classroom setting
  • Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES). *Required certification or license must be uploaded when submitting application for employment.

Nice to have

  • Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level in a classroom setting
  • Eighteen (18) hours of coursework in field of teaching.
  • Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment.
