Responsibilities
- Position includes direct supervision of superintendent and assistants, foreman, subcontractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordination and execution of work on time along with direct coordination with clients, design team members, 3rd party consultants, etc.
- Impacts own team, adjacent teams, and teams company-wide
- May manage multiple related teams
Requirements
- Proficiency with computer-based scheduling software, spreadsheet applications, project management software, and virtual construction software
- Knowledge and understanding of sustainable construction (ex.
- Applies deep knowledge of construction systems and techniques to ensure that project operations are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality and safety standards
- Utilizes knowledge of quality and construction processes to anticipate potential risks to the project, implementing proactive measures to mitigate them
- Leverages knowledge of safety standards to enforce best practices across projects
