About the role

  • The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for managing a case load and working with leaders across the organization to ensure consistency in performance management.
  • This role serves as a key liaison between leadership and staff, promoting effective communication, fair treatment, and a respectful workplace culture.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers seeking guidance on workplace issues, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders and HR Business Partners across the organization to manage performance-related issues, including counseling, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Support and present training to employees and management on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and compliance.
  • Partner with HR Coordinators to prepare reports and analyses of employee relations data to inform management and support strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification Required.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on Employee Relations preferred.
