About the role

We're seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Solutions team.
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, billing, and accounts receivable.

In this role, you'll lead tax engagements, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional tax compliance and advisory support to clients while helping drive operational excellence across engagements.
Lead Tax Engagements Manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion.
Deliver Technical Tax Expertise Review and prepare complex federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals.
Conduct tax research and document conclusions in accordance with professional standards.
Support implementation of tax planning strategies developed by senior leadership.
Develop and Lead Team Members Supervise and review work prepared by Tax Senior Associates, Staff Accountants, and offshore team members.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to support professional growth.
Support Client Success Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor.

Master's in Taxation (MST), LL.M. in Taxation, or related advanced degree.
Experience serving clients in AEC, professional services, manufacturing, or closely held businesses.
Experience with state tax compliance, composite filings, and pass-through entity taxation.
Experience with tax software platforms such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, ProSystem fx, Checkpoint, or BNA.
Experience working with offshore accounting teams.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Active CPA or EA license 4+ years of public accounting tax experience.
Experience reviewing tax returns and managing engagement workflows.

The salary range for this position is an estimate of $130,000 - $150,000.
A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual's skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
