About the role
- ZURU is looking for a commercially minded Key Account Manager to help shift the needle on one of the fastest-growing businesses in US retail.

Responsibilities
- Own a significant portion of the business including sales, profit, and market share performance.
- Build compelling commercial recommendations grounded in data and customer insight.
- Build trusted relationships with the retailer's buying, replenishment, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead customer meetings independently and communicate with confidence.
Requirements
- Commercial thinking - business acumen, financial analysis, strategic planning, customer influence, negotiation
- Analytical - data interpretation, forecasting, financial modelling, problem solving, prioritization
- Leadership - ownership mindset, bias for action, accountability, curiosity, continuous improvement
- Communication - executive storytelling, presentation skills, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management
- Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing large retail customers - big-box retail strongly preferred

- Big-box or club-channel retail experience
- Experience in FMCG or Consumer Packaged Goods
- Experience managing customer P&Ls
- Experience with major retailer data and analytics platforms
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years in Sales, Category Management, Customer Business Development, Commercial Strategy, or related CPG functions
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to interpret data and convert insights into business actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Position Impact:
- You'll own and grow a significant portion of ZURU's business with a major US retailer - delivering against sales, profit, market share, and distribution objectives. You'll translate commercial strategy into actionable customer plans, build trusted partnerships with buyers, and hunt relentlessly for insights that drive decisions.
- At 6 months, you'll have a deep understanding of your account, a clear customer business plan in motion, and strong cross-functional relationships in place. At 12 months, you'll be driving compounding improvement across your portfolio - independently fixing complex challenges, protecting business performance, and contributing to ZURU's long-term ambition of becoming a leading supplier in US retail.
- Who you are:
- A commercially sharp account manager with 4+ years in CPG or FMCG, experienced with large retail customers. You build financial models as comfortably as you build relationships. You overprepare to win, anticipate risks before they land, and bring an ownership mindset to everything you do. You don't wait to be told - you move.
