- The Boeing Company is looking for a Calibration Technician A to join our team in Portland OR.

Responsibilities
- Use calibration standards (dimensional, electrical, thermal, and optical) to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair M&TE/process equipment using approved calibration procedures, process specifications, equipment drawings, and M&TE /process equipment manufacturer's performance specifications
- Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results
- Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by team lead or manager
- Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear
- Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes
- Develop and review new calibration processes and procedures
- Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field in lieu of experience in calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
- Precision metrology equipment lab training

- This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
Compensation
- $33.32/hour to start for new union members, with potential to earn up to $61.01/hour at max pay
