About the role
- Dekko Avila is a full-service tier 1 supplier of injection molded products and value-added assemblies.
- To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for understanding how things work and have sharp senses that help you locate minor faults quickly.
- This position reports to the Avilla engineering manager and will work collaboratively with all members of the Avilla team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner.
- Support workflows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions.
- Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work order.
- Support cost savings and process improvement programs for the manufacturing site.
- Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
Nice to have
- High School or equivalent
- Manufacturing maintenance technician experience (preferred)
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance and building maintenance methods.
- Able to read standard blueprints.
- Communication skills that will allow technical to ordinary communication.
- Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installations
- Hydraulic systems maintenance repair and installations
- Pneumatic systems maintenance repair and installations
- Welding (stick, tig, or mig) is a plus
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Forklift Certified
- General Production that assists in product movement only.
