About the role
- Hudson River Trading is seeking an IT generalist with Python programming experience to join our Enterprise Engineering team.
- You will be responsible for ensuring tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Okta - the chat, email, docs, and login services people need to get stuff done in a globally distributed company - work reliably and well with one another.
- We're here to make all of these services work for HRTers while ensuring that the tools do the heavy lifting and stay out of the way.
Responsibilities
- Find, enhance, or build the best productivity and collaboration systems that allow HRTers to excel at their work
- Lead and manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders across the business
- Build features HRT needs like SCIM, config management, and self-service interfaces
- Manage user identities and access policies across a wide variety of internal and external systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT engineering, or related disciplines
- Python programming experience
- Experience programming against SaaS and Cloud platform APIs for integration and automation
- Experience managing enterprise software deployments, including standard integrations like SSO, SCIM, and PAM
- You code regularly as part of your current role
- You've built tools or systems from the ground up that other people use
- Superior design, debugging, and problem solving skills
- Basic familiarity with Linux and comfort navigating the command line

Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 per year, based on job-related skills and experience.
