About the role
- The Partner Account Executive is responsible for driving growth, expansion, and production performance across a portfolio of high-potential distribution partners.
- This role will focus on developing partner growth strategies, increasing adoption and production, and strengthening long-term partner relationships.
- The Partner Account Executive serves as the primary commercial owner for strategic producing accounts and collaborates closely with Partner Success Managers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure partners achieve production and engagement goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned partner accounts.
- Drive premium growth, partner engagement, and market expansion across assigned relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency principals, brokers, producers, and partner leadership teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Collaborate with Partner Success Managers to ensure high-quality partner support and issue resolution.
- Monitor partner performance metrics including production, submission growth, engagement, and retention.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Insurance, and Revenue Operations teams to support partner growth initiatives.
- Identify at-risk partners and develop action plans to improve engagement and retention.
- Represent Coterie at industry and partner events as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales, partner management, or agency distribution.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot and sales engagement tools.
- Experience managing strategic relationships and business planning initiatives.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong sales, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with independent agents, brokers, aggregators, or embedded insurance platforms preferred.

Compensation
- Candidates who meet all the minimum requirements and possess additional relevant experience, as outlined in the job description, may be considered for a salary above the midpoint of the above range.
