- Duties of the Senior Water Resources Scientist will include the following: Hydrography: contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of hydrography datasets and surface-water network representations.
- Writing & communication: write clearly and rigorously for technical reports, publications, and proposals.
Responsibilities

- build, calibrate, run, and evaluate hydrologic models, with emphasis on ecological flows and streamflow behavior.
- help design and refine the rules and analytical logic that translate data and model output into clear, defensible results.
- develop well-documented, reproducible scientific analysis, primarily in R.
- Demonstrated experience building, calibrating, running, and evaluating hydrologic models.
Requirements
- Experience with hydrography datasets and surface-water network representation.
- Experience with ecological flows and streamflow or performance-oriented flow modeling.
