About the role

  • This role combines hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, helping translate cross-functional business needs into actionable insights, dashboard reporting, operational processes, and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Operational & Management Support - Provide day-to-day support to the Vice President, FinOps in coordinating across the FinOps team, including scheduling, preparation of presentations, tracking action items, and supporting internal planning, coordination, and execution of team priorities.
  • Dashboard Development & Maintenance - Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to support organizational reporting needs, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely updates.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into practical dashboard solutions and support ongoing enhancements as organizational needs evolve.
  • Vendor & External Partner Coordination - Help manage the working relationship with CGC's external technology and reporting support vendors, including coordinating requests, tracking deliverables, and escalating issues as needed, while collaborating closely with the VP of IT and senior operational leaders.
  • Project Management & Workflow Coordination - Support the planning, tracking, and execution of cross-functional initiatives across FinOps, including implementing project management and workflow tools and processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Analysis - Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather information, identify reporting and operational needs, document requirements, improve processes, and support the execution of organizational priorities.
  • Reporting to the Vice President, FinOps, the Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst provides analytical, operational, project management, and execution support across the FinOps function.
  • A core responsibility of this role is owning the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CGC's Power BI reporting environment, ensuring dashboards effectively support operational, financial, and management decision-making.
  • The Analyst provides key coordination support for cross-functional initiatives, helping organize priorities, develop and manage workflows, document and improve processes, and translate business needs into actionable plans and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Required
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing business reporting dashboards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Additional
  • Ability to document processes, synthesize complex information, and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business operations, project coordination, reporting, or analytics functions
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions
  • High degree of ownership, follow-through, and comfort working across both operational and technical domains
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and evolving business processes
  • Experience with project management, workflow management, or collaboration platforms such as Jira or similar tools
  • Experience gathering requirements and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
