- NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - NIGHT SHIFT OVERVIEW Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift Location: Wheeling, IL Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating (2 on, 2 off, 3 on one week; 2 off, 2 on, 3 off next week).
- This position plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges and contributing to overall plant reliability and uptime.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic or technician in a manufacturing or distribution environment required.
- Candidates must be able to discuss their experience in detail and demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge gained in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or distribution environment.
- Must be 18+ years of age Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - no sponsorship available for this role
Compensation
- Starting at $40.89/hour + Shift Differentials + Overtime Opportunities Employment: Full-Time W2, Direct Hire Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic or technician in a manufacturing or distribution environment required.
