Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement complex machine control systems
- Create and edit programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Motion Controllers
- Perform other duties as directed by the Machine Engineering Supervisor and/or the Lead Electrical Engineer
- The Electrical Engineer II will design, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot custom equipment used in the manufacturing of company products.
Requirements
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- High school diploma with a minimum of 15 years
- or BSEE or BSEET degree with 10 years of experience
- Must have all basic tools
- Ability to use a computer and software as required
- High school diploma with a minimum of 15 years; or BSEE or BSEET degree with 10 years of experience
- Familiar with NEC, UL508A, and Industrial control application best practices
- Industrial control and power system design and troubleshooting
- Read, create, and evaluate electrical schematics
- Good advanced math skills
- Familiar with programming PLCs, HMIs, drives, and motion controls
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
- Project management and technical leadership
