Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and implement complex machine control systems
  • Create and edit programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Motion Controllers
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Machine Engineering Supervisor and/or the Lead Electrical Engineer
  • The Electrical Engineer II will design, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot custom equipment used in the manufacturing of company products.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 15 years
  • or BSEE or BSEET degree with 10 years of experience
  • Must have all basic tools
  • Ability to use a computer and software as required
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 15 years; or BSEE or BSEET degree with 10 years of experience
  • Familiar with NEC, UL508A, and Industrial control application best practices
  • Industrial control and power system design and troubleshooting
  • Read, create, and evaluate electrical schematics
  • Good advanced math skills
  • Familiar with programming PLCs, HMIs, drives, and motion controls
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
  • Project management and technical leadership
