About the role

Ameresco has a new opportunity for an experienced Site Safety Manager based in the Columbus, Ohio, metropolitan area.

Work with project supervision and management to create safety solutions to safety problems.
Foster and maintain a positive safety culture for the project personnel.
Ability to travel as needed to support construction safety operations.
This position will be responsible for planning, preparing, organizing, implementing, and executing all safety administrative and performance requirements for an assigned project in accordance with contract specifications, OSHA, Ameresco internal Safety Management System, and Accident Prevention Plan (APP), while fully integrating with the project team to support the safe production of quality work.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety.
Review subcontractor safety qualifications and attend pre-construction meetings as required.
Maintain all safety certifications as required by contracts.

Must be organized, proactive and have proven experience in OSHA Compliance.
CHST or CSP certifications preferred.
Current OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety Certification.
Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other basic computer skills.
Skillful communicator in both verbal and written communication.
A great listener who can communicate professionally and in an open and positive approach.
