About the role
- This role provides mentorship to Safety Associates and serves as a trusted advisor to operational leadership on all EHS-related matters.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safety Leadership & Program Management Serve as a safety subject matter expert and resource for field operations and leadership teams.
- Promote and reinforce TRP's safety-first culture through active field engagement and leadership presence.
Responsibilities
- This position serves as a key safety leader within the organization, partnering closely with Operations, Branch Leadership, and Field Personnel to drive compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen TRP's safety culture.
- Support branch leadership in achieving safety performance goals and key performance indicators.
- Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to develop corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, leadership safety meetings, and compliance training.
- Compliance & Regulatory Management Manage OSHA logs, training records, inspection documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Requirements
- 5+ years of safety experience in construction, pavement marking, traffic control, heavy highway, transportation, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience leading safety training programs and safety audits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territories and work occasional nights or weekends.
