About the role

  • This role provides mentorship to Safety Associates and serves as a trusted advisor to operational leadership on all EHS-related matters.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safety Leadership & Program Management Serve as a safety subject matter expert and resource for field operations and leadership teams.
  • Promote and reinforce TRP's safety-first culture through active field engagement and leadership presence.

Responsibilities

  • This position serves as a key safety leader within the organization, partnering closely with Operations, Branch Leadership, and Field Personnel to drive compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen TRP's safety culture.
  • Support branch leadership in achieving safety performance goals and key performance indicators.
  • Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to develop corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, leadership safety meetings, and compliance training.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Management Manage OSHA logs, training records, inspection documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive action plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of safety experience in construction, pavement marking, traffic control, heavy highway, transportation, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience leading safety training programs and safety audits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territories and work occasional nights or weekends.
