About the role
- Reporting to the Director of Sales, Western Canada, the Board Manager & Key Accounts, Canada Adult Use is responsible for leading the organization's wholesale sales strategy with provincial cannabis boards, government distributors, and other regulated wholesale channels.
- This role develops and maintains strategic relationships with provincial buying authorities, drives revenue growth, manages product listings, oversees sales forecasting, and collaborates cross-functionally to maximize market penetration and brand performance.
- The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the Canadian cannabis industry, provincial purchasing processes, regulatory requirements, category management, and commercial sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute provincial board sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial cannabis board, government wholesalers, and key decision-makers.
- Manage customer expectations while ensuring exceptional service levels.
- Monitor customer performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development to ensure successful product launches.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and product category.
- Partner with Marketing to develop promotional programs that support provincial sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance on pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and customer performance.
- Support Product Development by providing customer and market feedback.
