About the role
- Job Description: The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for supporting manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and assisting with the development of process improvements.
- This role contributes to departmental objectives by helping to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
- The Manufacturing Engineer I works under guidance to analyze production issues, support implementation of engineering solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- This position focuses on building foundational engineering knowledge while contributing to continuous improvement and operational success.
- Support the implementation of process changes, including equipment setup, workflow improvements, and standard work practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support problem-solving and process optimization efforts.
- Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve production issues and improve equipment performance.
- Assist in evaluating equipment and tooling to support production requirements.
- Support testing and validation of new processes or equipment changes.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline;
- 0+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field,
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
Nice to have
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
