About the role

  • Job Description: The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for supporting manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and assisting with the development of process improvements.
  • This role contributes to departmental objectives by helping to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • The Manufacturing Engineer I works under guidance to analyze production issues, support implementation of engineering solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • This position focuses on building foundational engineering knowledge while contributing to continuous improvement and operational success.
  • Support the implementation of process changes, including equipment setup, workflow improvements, and standard work practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support problem-solving and process optimization efforts.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve production issues and improve equipment performance.
  • Assist in evaluating equipment and tooling to support production requirements.
  • Support testing and validation of new processes or equipment changes.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline;
  • 0+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field,
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

Nice to have

  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
