About the role
- The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- The technician works independently or as part of a service team and serves as a trusted technical representative of the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs
- Work with building automation systems [BAS], thermostats, sensors, and control panels
- Maintain professional conduct on customer sites and represent the company positively
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
- Experience with chillers, boilers, and/or BAS controls
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Journeyman or Master HVAC license [state or local, where applicable]
- Electrical troubleshooting beyond basic component replacement
- Factory training or OEM certifications
