About the role

  • THIS IS AN INDEFINITE NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
  • This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection.
  • This is a Title 32 Indefinite excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.

Requirements

  • Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • O1 to O3 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position.
  • An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
  • Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs.
  • Must have a basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee.
  • It is applicant's responsibility to acquire a compatible MOS/AFSC within 1 year of appointment.
  • Coordinate with your unit's training representative to determine whether or not you can qualify for a specific MOS/AFSC and/or receive training within the 1 year timeframe before accepting the position.

Compensation

  • $70k-$91k
