- Knowledge or experience of centrifugal pump design and manufacturing is an asset.
- Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- 5+ years of experience working with design engineering in manufacturing environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in designing pumping packages is a plus.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience in designing electromechanical systems and controls (preferred).
- Experience with PLM and ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP).
- Soft Skills
- The capability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
- An ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations.
