About the role

We're looking for a new Director of Application Engineering to join our team in Toronto, Canada.
Work daily with your team, product owners, and program managers to execute on project deliverables
The Go To Market Technology (GTMT) organization enables the growth and productivity for DoorDash Go-To-Market teams with reliable data, intelligent workflows, and frictionless experiences that move at the speed of DoorDash.

Manage and build a team of administrators and developers to lead technical design for our Salesforce implementation and associated applications including Salesforce as well as home-grown first party systems
Collaborate with our team of solution architects to ensure our overall design is aligned with our architectural roadmap and center of excellence
Manage the planning, capacity, and development schedule for all projects
Develop and demonstrate new strategies that apply technology to resolve organizational challenges
Build and lead a team of technical individuals to design and implement scalable enterprise solutions
Lead technical design and contribute toward a scalable architecture for the Business Application team
Support additional first- and third-party applications to drive holistic solutions for our business processes

Deep knowledge of both Salesforce declarative and programmatic development features

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
