About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Local Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and strategic management within a specific geographic area.
This position ensures our fleet operates safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively while supporting operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet operations, logistics, and personnel management.

Manage and coordinate all fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, assignment, maintenance, and disposal
Ensure fleet supports operational needs and maintains high availability
Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime and longevity
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and certifications
Develop and manage fleet budgets with focus on cost per mile optimization
Track fuel usage, optimize fuel efficiency, and manage fuel card programs
Negotiate and manage relationships with leasing companies, maintenance providers, and equipment suppliers
