About the role

  • Our site in San Luis Obispo is seeking a Welder 1 to join our team.
  • The Welder 1 will be responsible for performing tasks related to welding components used in our Ultra High Purity Systems.
  • This will include, but not limited to, tack welding, final welding with orbital or lathe welding equipment, tubing, and various fittings to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine, repetitive operations and processes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
  • Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
  • Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
  • The new hire in this role will have the potential to grow and create relationships across the organization and be recognized for demonstrated success and adherence to company PACE values.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years' experience tig welding of stainless steel.
  • Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find, drawings and instructions.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to learn how handle material responsibly.
